This brilliant comic from Economix Comix really impressed me. It is 27 pictures long, but despite having a friend over for dinner, once I was linked it, I read all the way through it. I will start with a few small clips from it before laying it out, but I really encourage you to read through it. Even if you already know that free trade isn’t free, you might learn a thing or two, I certainly did.

Don’t worry, most of the comic is discussing ideas and not diagrams.

I’m glad you made it to the end. The message is not just true for the TPP and TTIP, but also for the TISA (which affects over 65 nations). I thought this comic did a great job of bringing up, and countering, frequently seen arguments. Michael Goodwin, the cartoonist, also wrote a pretty highly praised book on the economy called, “Economix: How Our Economy Works.” I can also recommend his carton about net neutrality.
